Act Now Hawai'i
These critical programs depend on you to keep them funded at current levels. There are a number of ways you can voice your support.
- Contact the state legislature to let them know you support these programs. It's best to contact your representative directly (to find your rep. go to https://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/) or send an email to everyone in the State Senate and House: reps@capitol.hawaii.gov or sens@capitolhawaiigov. Some talking points to consider (to post at a later date):
- Sign up for email action alerts by contacting:
- hawaiiourhome@gmail.com
- Marjorie Ziegler of the Conservation Council of Hawaii at mz@conservehi.org (however CCH will also alert you to other conservation related bills)
- Housing Action Alert list (dhein@waikikihc.org)
- Write a letter to the editor in one of the papers. Here are some examples from last year:

- Find out the status of legislation and keep up to date on related hearings requiring your testimony by plugging in bill numbers at https://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/. Example testimonies (to post at a later date):
